The Wolverine Building ge

Located in the Wolverine Building, 206 Main Street, Dowagiac, this beautiful home was built back in 1885 by Mark Judd. After serving as headquarters for Wolverine Mutual Insurance for almost 30 years since 1946, in 1975 it was donated to the Dowagiac Union School District through the generosity of Robert Jessup, Richard M. Judd, D. Bruce Laing,  Maurice Oppenheim and Sidney B. Tremble. The Wolverine Building was dedicated to benefit all public school students in the Dowagiac Union School District and has served in that capacity ever since.
