The Athletic Booster Club Scholarship will be given annually to a senior boy and girl who most nearly meet the following criteria as established by the committee on January 14, 2003.

1. The student-athlete must have earned a cumulative 2.75 grade point average or above.

2. The student-athlete must have lettered at Dowagiac High School in more than one sport.

3. The student-athlete must have shown leadership qualities in school and in the community

4. The student-athlete must have shown honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship throughout their high school career.

5. The student-athlete must continue his/her education at an accredited college or university.

6. Monies will be made available to the student-athlete at the beginning of the second semester of attendance at the college of his/her choice. The student shall provide proof of successful completion of the first semester of college in addition to enrollment in a second semester.

7. The final selection and amount awarded to the scholarship winner will be made by a committee of Athletic Booster Club members on a majority vote.
