Theta Mu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will host their 14^th annual “Spring Swing” Golf Outing/Hog Roast on Friday, May 16^th at Spruce Ridge Golf Course.  Proceeds benefit area youth and community groups.  Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. with tee-off at 5:30 p.m.  Cost is $40.00 per person.  2-person team scramble includes green fees/cart for 9 holes, hog roast and door prizes.  Lots of prizes for men and women.

STUDENTS

• A REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS: THERE ARE ONLY TWO (2) MORE SATURDAYS AVAILABLE TO MAKE UP TIME BEFORE THE END OF THE TRIMESTER: 5/17 AND 5/31. YOU CAN MAKE UP FIVE (5) HOURS EACH SATURDAY.  STUDENTS MAY MAKE UP ONE (1) HOUR EVERY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY DURING AFTER SCHOOL DETENTION IN ROOM #308.  THERE WILL BE NO SATURDAY DETENTION ON 5/24 MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, SO SENIORS WILL NEED TO HAVE MAKE-UP TINME COMPLETED BY 5/23. SEE MR. YODER IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
• Boys interested in playing soccer this fall: There is a mandatory meeting at 7:15am on Thursday morning or 2:30pm on Thursday after school.  You must attend one of the meetings.
• All students going on the Mexico trip this summer need to see Mr. Williams today. 
• There will be a football meeting for all JV and Varsity players on Thursday, May 15^th at 2:40pm in room #308.  If you have any questions, please see Coach Stanger.
• There will be a meeting today after school for anyone interested in playing tennis next year.  Please meet in Mr. Partee’s room.
• There will be a mandatory meeting for any individual planning on playing volleyball Thursday, May 15^th right after school in Mr. Brook’s room #113.
• Mrs. O’Keefe is looking for students to serve punch and cookies at the Dogwood Storytellers reception on Wednesday, May 14^th from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m.  This could count for service hours for clubs, etc.  All interested students please sign up in room #301.
• Petitions for students interested in holding office for Student Senate next year are located in the main office. Petitions are due back to the main office today.

·        The Band/Choirs would lie to invite you to the first annual Courtyard Jams Wednesday or    Thursday during lunch. Bring your lunch and we will entertain you.

SENIORS

• SENIORS: Celebration Graduation Party tickets will be on sale during lunch Thursday, May 15^TH and Friday, May 16^TH.  They are $10.00 each.  The party will begin on June 1^ST at 6:00 pm and end June 2^ND at 7:00 am.
• SENIORS: Josten's will be here on Monday, May 19^TH to distribute caps & gowns.

GUIDANCE

• A representative from the US Army will be visiting Dowagiac Union High School today during “A” & “B” lunch.  Any interested student may sign up in the Guidance Office.
