Mr. Josh Bartz

Mr. Bartz is now in his third year in the district.  He is originally from Portage, where he graduated from Portage Northern High School.  He graduated with his Bachelor's of Science in Music Education degree in May 2004.  He and his wife Rachelle, daughter Annabelle, and dog Zoey live in Portage. 

Mrs. Katie Hahn

Katie Hahn is a first year teacher who originally hails from the Icebox of the Nation, International Falls, Minnesota. She moved to Michigan to study at Western Michigan University and fell in love with the area. She enjoys being part of the long standing band tradition in Dowagiac and is excited to work with every student in the band program. She is currently living in Kalamazoo with her husband, John and their dog, Sparky.
