Graduation Requirements

Requirements for Pathfinders Alternative students are the same as for students at Union High School.

Graduation Ceremony

A Pathfinders graduation ceremony takes place in June to recognize all students earning a GED or a High School Diploma over the course of the school year.

Schools of Choice

The Dowagiac Union School District participates in Schools of Choice. If you live in Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph (MI), or Van Buren Counties, you may apply to attend school in Dowagiac. Applications will be accepted from August 21 through September 11. If outside this date range, contact the school office for information.

Credit Recovery

Students who need to make up a course at Dowagiac Union High School may enroll in the Credit Recovery Program. That group meets here in the evenings from 5:30 - 8:30 Monday through Thursday.

Course requirements will include on-line assignments and may require off-line assignments. This program requires Union High School administration approval.
