Count Day Reminder: Wednesday, October 2, 2024, is Count Day! The funding we receive on this day is vital for ensuring we have the necessary resources to provide a high-quality education for our students. A couple of incentives students can plan for on Wednesday as we encourage perfect attendance. We will be serving favorite lunch items for students at school that day and any student in full attendance at school on Wednesday will receive a free homecoming football game ticket for Friday night’s game against Brandywine!

McDonald's has selected Dowagiac Union High School to receive funds from the 2024 McDonald's High School Sports Digital Fundraiser. On October 2nd, our local McDonald's restaurant will be raising money for our high school sports programs. They will be donating 10% of all DIGITAL sales made in the McDonald’s App to our athletic department. The more orders made in the McDonald’s App, the more money raised for our school!

We hope to see you all at the homecoming game this Friday, October 4, 2024!

As students begin to think about plans after high school, the newly updated Pathfinder can help them find more options than just college. Get started at Pathfinder.MiTalent.org.
Also, students and families are encouraged to view the "Michigan Hot 50 Job Outlook through 2032," which includes the anticipated job growth, the average wage and the education requirements for each occupation. Students can explore in-demand careers and the credentials they'll need.

Count Day is on Wednesday, October 2nd!

Phone Update: Phone lines have been successfully restored across all buildings in our district. Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

Parent Teacher Conferences

Last night, a car struck a utility pole and resulted in power outages near and around the high school. We have been informed all power has been restored. However, it has also caused our phone system to go down. We are working to resolve this issue, but we may not be able to call out or receive phone calls to our buildings and at the bus garage today. We will continue to keep you updated and let you know when our phone system has been fixed.

Due to the threat of severe weather, the start time for the Varsity football game in Marshall this evening has been pushed back to 7:30 p.m.
