FRIDAY FOOTBALL TAILGATE, CHIEFTAIN PALOOZA: Join us for a community tailgate tomorrow, October 18, starting at 4PM, which is free of charge. The live show will begin at 5PM and end at 6PM. We invite you to gather at the football practice field at Chris Taylor Alumni Field for an enjoyable experience! It is also senior night and the pink out game. Attendees wearing pink will gain entry to the game for just $1, with all proceeds benefiting Borgess Tree of Love. Let’s go, Chieftains!
Special Event, Chieftain Palooza: Starting off with a Friday football tailgate, designed to replicate the atmosphere of a college game day. The event begins at 4 PM, with the live show starting at 5 PM and ending at 6 PM. We'd greatly appreciate it if all of our DMS football players would attend and wear their jerseys to help create an exciting atmosphere and ensure our presence outshines that of any other town that has attempted this event. This is a community event and is free for all who attend. Additionally, Friday is senior night, and it will be a “pink out” game. Any fan, regardless of age, wearing pink will gain entry for just $1, with proceeds benefiting the Borgess Tree of Love.
Friday Football Tailgate is coming to Chris Taylor Alumni Field this Friday, October 18th for this week's game against the Buchanan Bucks. The setup will be like college game day with a stage, commentators and even the video wall. They will host a pre-game show with coaches, athletes and alumni. They will break down the game and hype up the crowd.
We will also have games, food and entertainment for the community starting at 4 pm.
This is a community event with no charge!
Reminder it's Pink Out! Anyone wearing pink gets into the game for $1. Gate proceeds go to the Borgess Tree of Love.

Count Day Reminder: Wednesday, October 2, 2024, is Count Day! The funding we receive on this day is vital for ensuring we have the necessary resources to provide a high-quality education for our students. A couple of incentives students can plan for on Wednesday as we encourage perfect attendance. We will be serving favorite lunch items for students at school that day and any student in full attendance at school on Wednesday will receive a free homecoming football game ticket for Friday night’s game against Brandywine!

Phone Update: Phone lines have been successfully restored across all buildings in our district. Wishing everyone a wonderful day!
Parent Teacher Conferences
Last night, a car struck a utility pole and resulted in power outages near and around the high school. We have been informed all power has been restored. However, it has also caused our phone system to go down. We are working to resolve this issue, but we may not be able to call out or receive phone calls to our buildings and at the bus garage today. We will continue to keep you updated and let you know when our phone system has been fixed.
DMS Football Update for 9/25/2024: Brandywine is experiencing transportation issues. The start time will now be 5:30 PM. Additionally, there will only be one game played tomorrow.
