Our third-grade students went on a field trip to North Lake Park, where they had the opportunity to appreciate the outdoors, gain historical knowledge, explore elements of the French language, and engage in teamwork activities. Link to video: https://5il.co/2mjv2

All fifth-grade students participated in a collective field trip to Nitro Zone, where they engaged in arcade games before proceeding to the football field for lunch and a scavenger hunt. We extend our gratitude to the PTOs of each elementary school for coordinating this enjoyable event.

On May 9th, the fifth-grade students embarked on a field trip to Sarett Nature Center. During their visit, they were educated on the principles of conservation and stewardship concerning our environment. Our students actively engaged in a hands-on stewardship task, specifically the removal of an invasive species, garlic mustard, from a wooded area within the Nature Center. Despite the inclement weather, the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and gained valuable insights into the impact of invasive species on our ecosystem, empowering them to effect positive change.
Our students had a blast at Young Writers Day! Laurie Keller presented to our students; she wrote and illustrated "Do Unto Otters" and "Arnie the Donut."
