Good afternoon Sister Lakes Families, The weather forecast for tonight, 2/15/21, is describing some possible challenging weather coming our way. Because of this, students will be bringing home their tech/Chromebooks and learning materials. If the weather is severe enough, we will announce, as early as possible, that tomorrow will be a distance learning day. If we have a distance learning day, we will follow the same schedules used earlier in the year. This idea is based on maximizing as much instructional time this year as possible. Thank you.

Happy New Year Sister Lakes students and families! I hope everyone had a great holiday! This is just a reminder that we return to school on Monday 1/4/2021 and will be in distance learning until 1/08/2021. Can't wait to see everyone online! Have a great weekend.

Returning to Distance Learning 1/4/21 - 1/8/21 We will be returning to distance learning per the school board’s decision. During this time we will follow the same daily schedule as used during the first five weeks of school for the distance learning plan. Students will need to take their Chromebooks and other needed materials home with them at the end of school day on Friday, December 18, 2020. Staff and students will work together through the Schoology learning platform and other support programs that have been used throughout this school year. Volviendo al aprendizaje a distancia 01/04/21-01/08/21 Regresaremos a la educación a distancia según la decisión de la junta escolar. Durante este tiempo, seguiremos el mismo horario diario que se utilizó durante las primeras cinco semanas de clases para el plan de aprendizaje a distancia. Los estudiantes deberán llevar sus Chromebooks y otros materiales necesarios a casa al final del día escolar el viernes 18 de diciembre de 2020. Sister Lakes Parent Meeting There will be a virtual parent meeting Monday and Tuesday this week. Monday - December 7th at 5:30 pm Tuesday - December 8th at 8:00 am This meeting is to gather parent input for our School Family Compact and our Family Engagement Plan. The compact is the same as last year except we need to include distance learning. The Family Engagement Plan was also adjusted to include virtual meetings. Both times are the exact same meeting but we are providing you two opportunities to attend the meeting. Please let us know which meeting works best for you.
