8th Graders in Mrs. Stockwell's class were hard at work researching a theme related to Valentine's Day. Students created One Pager digital posters to show their learning on their chosen topics such as chocolate, the history of the holiday, and flowers.

“Each Friday choir students in Mr. Schuur’s class get a chance to perform in Open Mic. Students sign up to sing, dance, act, read poems, and tell jokes to their classmates. It’s a great way for everyone to hear and see their friend’s talents! Here are some pictures of performers from 5th hour choir! Way to go!”

Mrs. Solloway's class reviewed cells and cellular processes with digital escape rooms. Students raced the clock by answering questions correctly and figure out the code to escape successfully.

Hello DMS Chieftains,
This message is for families who are dropping off their child in the morning. To help with this process, we are asking families who are arriving early to please park in our front parking lot until our doors open at 7:20 am.
Also, if you are the front car in our drop off line, we ask that you please pull your vehicle up to the orange cone located on the sidewalk in our front circle. This will help us to move traffic more quickly and efficiently through the school’s driveway, as more families will be able to allow their child to exit their vehicles.
Finally, please say your goodbyes early and have your child ready to exit your car (with all of their things) when you pull up to the front of the building.
We thank you for your continued patience and support. By working together, we will make things run more smoothly.
Dr. Wightman

Mrs. Deering's Sixth grade ELA students submitted their narrative essays last week after much hard work! Each student wrote about a memory from his/her life. Students are now creating comic strips to illustrate their stories. Can't wait to read them!

ATTENTION all DMS families,

We are asking that you please make use of the following weblink: www.geskusphoto.com/?YB=1174 to place your order/s online. We believe this new process will be more efficient than in years past. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our school office at 269-782-4440.
